We are currently seeking outstanding candidates to help us Keep our Clients Moving! As an Action Care Coordinator at Action, you will work alongside other medical professionals to provide the most appropriate, best-fitting mobility equipment.
You will learn the multifaceted world of funding that surrounds Complex Rehab Technology.

Responsibilities will include:
Insurance verification Insurance correspondence Order processing Scheduling Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures, reporting compliance issues Maintains quality results by following standards Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Enhances company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Other tasks associated with documentation and record gathering Growth opportunities that exist are Complex Rehab Medical Billing Associate, Complex Rehab Medical Billing Specialist, and Inside Sales Rep.

Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required.

years of insurance verification, medical customer service or other related experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology, Medicare LCD, HCPCS, and diagnosis codes preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills including strong phone acumen to effectively communicate across diverse populations including patients, parents/caretakers and healthcare professionals.
Strong proficiency in using a computer and computer applications including Adobe Acrobat, creating/editing Word documents and/or Excel spreadsheets, conducting research using the internet, using templates, working in a company-created database and using Outlook (email/calendar functions).
Ability to learn and retain the specific criteria and requirements for different insurance plans.
The main tasks for this position are patient intake, insurance verification, and reception for phone calls to all locations.
