68 an hourJob DescriptionJob descriptionSite attendant will help open and close various areas of the Fort but will mainly staff the Palisade area.
Attendant will be required to operate the office register which includes but is not limited to counting the drawer in and closing it out for the day, take admissions, donations, and sell merchandise.
Attendant will be expected to walk the palisade regularly to check for debris, clean bathrooms, dust/sweep and maintain exhibit/program rooms.
Attendant is expected to help conduct tours of the site, be able to give information on relevant aspects of the site and its history and interact with visitors in a professional and informative manner.
Lifting items up to 50 lbs, regular walking around the 100-acre site and up and down stairs, regular cleaning of historic structures are important and unavoidable duties of this position.
The position is part time and requires employee to work most Saturdays.
